An Australian daredevil took the term “down under” to a new level when he wiggled down head-first into a hole to catch a  giant mud crab by hand.
Beau Greaves, a resident of the outback in Queensland, shared the incredible moment, captured on video, earlier this week. In the video, he first explains his intended technique, to use a stick in one hand to distract the crab and then grab the creature with his other hand.
“Another solid muddy up in the holes using my decoy stick, tried to explain it a little bit how to get them out,” Greaves said. “Been bitten twice, nearly lost a finger and been close to having my wrist crushed, but I guess the more you do it the better you get at it.”

However, with the help of his friend, Greaves emerges with the massive mud crab in hand, injury-free.
