Amber Lyon, who has won three Emmy awards due to her journalism, exposed the mainstream media for what they are. In her own words, she told how the United States government makes it a routine to pay news outlets like CNN to stage fake news stories that back up certain plots.
On top of that, foreign governments also pay these news outlets to avoid stories that are damaging, even if it means to lie. In March of 2011, there was a four-person news team that was sent to Bahrain to report on the Arab Spring. During their time there, the group became the subject of intense intimidation, however, the footage that they recorded was amazing. Glenn Greenwald of the Uk Guardian wrote in his very popular September 2012 article that:
“In the segment, Lyon interviewed activists as they explicitly described their torture at the hands of government forces, while family members recounted their relatives’ abrupt disappearances. She spoke with government officials justifying the imprisonment of activists. And the segment featured harrowing video footage of regime forces shooting unarmed demonstrators, along with the mass arrests of peaceful protesters. In sum, the early 2011 CNN segment on Bahrain presented one of the starkest reports to date of the brutal repression embraced by the US-backed regime.
Despite these accolades, and despite the dangers their own journalists and their sources endured to produce it, CNN International (CNNi) never broadcast the documentary. Even in the face of numerous inquiries and complaints from their own employees inside CNN, it continued to refuse to broadcast the program or even provide any explanation for the decision. To date, this documentary has never aired on CNNi.
Having just returned from Bahrain, Lyon says she “saw first-hand that these regime claims were lies, and I couldn’t believe CNN was making me put what I knew to be government lies into my reporting.”
In the following segment, you can see the Bahrain report that Amber Lyon and her team created. Unfortunately, although obviously, CNN refused to air the segment. Why? Because the Bahrain government had paid them to not show it.

Lyon tried to challenge CNN on their decision, but due to this, CNN now saw her as a risk.
She is attempting to bring the truth to light regarding the mainstream media. She even has her own website, in which she exposes the truth behind the media.

Many people regard those who show disbelief of the mainstream media as conspiracy theorists. However, if you watch the footage, and go to Amber’s website, and go on and do your own research, there is absolutely no denying that Amber has a point. Amber has even gone as far as to go on InfoWars, a news outlet that many dismiss as conspiracy, but what she says will blow your mind with information. We have provided a link to that as well. I further encourage you to watch this without judgment or prior thoughts about the media and then form your opinion based on REAL INFORMATION
